Doctor Who Fanfiction

So I've decided to write a very long fanfiction! It's going to be a Doctor Who-Peter Pan crossover, which should be interesting. I'm quite a geeky fan of both, and I do have some experience writing, so hopefully it won't be too unbearably horrible. I know fanfictions can be really annoying to read when people write them without putting a lot of time and effort into it, so hopefully mine won't be one of those. Here's the basic premise:

Every year (unless he forgets), Peter Pan will fly to Kensington, London, house number 14, to bring his mother to Neverland for spring cleaning. One night however, as Peter returns, he discovers that his old mother, Margaret, has grown up; and there is no new one. Even worse, his old mother is furious with him and chases him away without explanation. While consulting the fairies as to why his mother reacted to him this way, he stumbles into an odd blue box, and when he stumbles out again, it’s a different time, which he soon discovers to be not long after he returned Wendy for the last time to London. Peter takes her through the magic box and back into his time, where they go on one last adventure together—but it’s not all battling pirates and messing with mermaids this time. This time they must not only uncover Peter’s past and what turned Margaret bitter, but also the mystery behind the blue box.

The Doctor, in what he says to be his twelfth regeneration, has once again agreed to take Clara to visit a fairy-tale character whom he is convinced does not exist. After Robin Hood proved to be real, she's decided to see if Peter Pan might be as well. Upon meeting Peter, the Doctor and Clara soon discover that the "fairies" of Kensington Gardens have experimented on him, attempting to create a new species of Betwixt-and-Betweens that will extend their own lifespans. The key to the fairies' success is a young girl who, fortunately for the Doctor and those trying to stop the fairies' advances, has been kidnapped by pirates. Unfortunately, protecting her from the fairies requires the Doctor and his friends to team up with the pirates, who're more than a little untrustworthy, and might just happen to be looking for a way of resurrect their dead Captain Jas. Hook . . .

So I'm sure you can see what I mean by it being quite long. I'm already five chapters in, but their quite short chapters.

Series Nine Trailer!!!

Yay!!! So the trailer is out, and here it is:

I could spend a very long blog post talking about all the different theories and interpretations, but I feel like TARDISArchives did an AMAZING job breaking down this trailer, so here is the break down for that:

This was in the description for the video:

One other thing I would like to add is that in the trailer, towards the end, Twelve declares, "I'm the Doctor! And I save people!"  in an almost ridiculously dramatic and grand way, and I thought this was a bit silly, but if you go back to Fires of Pompeii (which for those of you who don't know is the first episode of Doctor Who that Peter Capaldi appeared in), you here Donna say to the Tenth Doctor, "But that's what you do. You're the Doctor. You save people." Could this be relevant? I think so!

Peter Capaldi said his Roman counterpart would at least be "invoked", and remember how the BBC sort of played on this idea by launching the first episode of Doctor Who on August 23rd, which, according to the Tenth Doctor, was the day that they were in Pompeii?

This could be hugely relevant, people!!!!!

No Sir! All Thirteen!

Probably my favorite scene from the Day of the Doctor:

If you look it up, there are some really cool re-edits of this clip! The next post will probably be about this!

Marry Poppins (Fan Theory)

Referenced in Christmas Carol, Town called Mercy, and The Unicorn and the Wasp.

It is a quite popular (though not quite head cannon) fan theory that Mary Poppins is a Time Lady!

I think Mary Poppins escaped the Time War, but left her children so ever since then she's been helping children out and stuff, all over the universe. Bert became immortal some how, but he probably got stuck in the past or something like that. Or he's a companion of Mary Poppins and he was a previous companion!
(Reminds me of captain jack;)
