The Doctor - WIP

The Doctor is a Time lord of Gallifrey from the constellation of Kasterborous. He grew up with another Time Lord known as the Master. During what is commonly accepted and believed to be his first regeration (the First Doctor), he stole a type 40 Time And Relative Dimension in Space machine/ship (nicknamed TARDIS by Susan) from his own people and ran away with his granddaughter to explore the universe.

The First Doctor

The First Doctor was played by William (Bill) Hartnell. He appeared as quite the old, grandfatherly figure, which fitted well, considering he was traveling with granddaughter, Susan. He could be quite villainous and uncaring at times, as shown in episodes such as the Cave of Skulls, when he didn't want his companions to show kindness to a caveman who needed their help. Despite being unfeeling, aloof, and irascible at times, he had a twinkle about him.

The First Doctor's companions were:
Susan Foreman
Barabara Wright
Ian Chesterton
Vicki
Steven Taylor
Katarina
Sara Kingdom
Dodo Chaplet
Polly
Ben Jackson

The Second Doctor

The Second Doctor was played by Patrick Troughton. He first appeared in the episode The Tenth Planet (if my sources are correct). He liked saying things having to do with giddiness, particularly, "Oh my dear giddy aunt!"
In addition, the Second Doctor had a flute of sorts that he enjoyed playing on.
His companions were:
Polly
Ben Jackson
Jamie McCrimmon
Victoria Waterfield
Zoe Heriot
Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart

The Third Doctor

(Coming Soon)
He's companions were:
Liz Shaw
Joe Grant
Sarah Jane Smith
Brigadier Alastair Gordon Lethbridge-Stewart
Sergeant John Benton
Captain Mike Yates

The Fourth Doctor

The Fourth Doctor, played by Tom Baker, was one of the first goofier incarnations. He was famous for wearing a long and colorful scarf that is commonly associated with Doctor Who fashion even decades later. He enjoyed offering people jelly babies.

His companions were:
Sarah Jane Smith
Harry Sullivan
Leela
K-9
Romana
Adric
Tegan Jovanka
Nyssa

(The other regenerations will be mentioned when I have time to put them in!)

In all 52 years of Doctor Who, the Doctor's name has never been revealed (as far as we ca tell). There have been instances on the show, however, where companions/friends have found out. (The Wedding of River Song, Journey to the Center of the TARDIS).

Sadly he had to destroy his home planet called Galifrey as it was currently being attacked by Daleks, and he was left with no other choice. The Doctor is imortal which is a gift and a curse. The Doctor is currently a little over two thousand years old, at least that's what he claims.

In the episode Heaven Sent, the Doctor spent four and a half billion years punching through a wall of Azbantium trying to get to Gallifrey. Although his body didn't age because he was in an energy loop, he claimed to remember the entire ordeal.
