Rose Tyler (AKA Bad Wolf) was the 9th doctor and 10th doctor lover and companion. Originally, she was trapped tragically in parallel universe with her family and friends. Further on in the series, the Tenth Doctor left his clone, the Meta-Crisis Doctor (or TenToo) with her.
Rose Tyler was an ordinary girl working in a clothing shop until the dummies in the shop's basement started to attack her. A man grabbed her hand and whispered, "Run!" and that was the moment her life changed forever.
She became the Doctor's first companion after the Last Great Time War and helped him recover from the scars of having to destroy his entire planet in a single Moment and Time Lock it to save the rest of the universe.
Rose Tyler left signs all around the universe saying, "Bad Wolf" which meant wherever the Doctor was she could always find him. In one case, she crossed several universes to find him again.
